TD-27 Version 2.10 Supplementary Manual
This manual explains the new features that were added in TD-27
version 2.10.
Introduction
The following functions have been added or changed as of TD-27
version 2.10.
DWe (DW-brand convertible drum) pads can now be used.

Checking the system program version of
the TD-27
Make sure that the system program version of the TD-27 is
or later.
If the current version is earlier than Ver. 2.10, update the system.
Checking the TD-27 version
1.
Press the [SYSTEM] button on the TD-27.
The SYSTEM screen appears.
2.
Use the cursor buttons to select "INFO" and press
the [ENTER] button.
The information screen appears.
3.
Press the [F1] (PROGRAM) button to show the
program version.
How to get the update (system program)
You can download free updates for TD-27 Ver. 2 and later via
Roland Cloud Manager. Refer to the following for details.

Using a DWe pad
You can now connect a DWe (DW-brand convertible drum) pad to
the TD-27.
Refer to "Configuring the TD-27 to use the DWe pads" (Roland
website) for how to make the settings.
Configuring the additional trigger types
Trigger types have been added for the following pads.
KD-22, KD-18, KD-12
PD-12X, PD-10X
KDQ-8, PDQ-8S, PDQ-8, CYQ-12

how to set up and play each pad.

Trigger type
Ver. 2.10
The trigger type is a collection of various trigger parameters,
adjusted to values that are appropriate for each pad. To make the
optimal settings for a connected pad, specify the model (trigger
type) of that pad.
Setting the trigger type
1.
Press the [SYSTEM] button.
The SYSTEM screen appears.
2.
Use the cursor buttons to select "TRIGGER" and
press the [ENTER] button.
The TRIGGER MENU screen appears.
3.
Use the cursor buttons to select "BANK", and press
the [ENTER] button.
The TRIGGER BANK screen appears.

To select the pad for which to make settings, either
strike that pad or use the cursor buttons.
