® SAFE Select Technology (BNF Basic) ® The evolutionary SAFE Select technology can offer an extra level of protection so you can perform the fi rst fl ight with confi dence. No complex transmitter programming is required. Just follow the simple bind process to make the SAFE Select system active. When activated, bank and pitch limitations keep you from over-controlling and automatic self-leveling makes recovery from risky or confusing attitudes as simple as releasing the sticks. -

Model Assembly Tail Installation Slide the horizontal stabilizer (A) into the slot of the fuselage. Center the horizontal stabilizer and then secure into place with the 4 included pieces of tape (B). Connect the LED connector on the bottom of the horizontal stabilizer. Connect the clevis to the elevator control horn (C) as shown. -

Model Assembly Continued Wing Installation Slide the wing tube (A) into the fuselage. Install the left and right wing over the wing tube. Guide the LED connectors (B) from both wings into the fuse and toward the bottom hatch. Seat the wings in the slot of the fuselage. Be careful not to pinch any wires. -

Transmitter and Receiver Binding / Switching ON and OFF SAFE Select Switching ON SAFE Select Binding Sequence ™ ® ® This product requires an approved Spektrum DSM2 /DSMX compatible transmitter. The aircraft has an optional SAFE Select feature, which can be switched ON or OFF easily by binding in a specifi c manner as described below. -

® SAFE Select Switch Designation ® SAFE Select technology can be easily assigned to any open switch (2 or 3 Mode 1 and 2 Transmitters position) on your transmitter. With this new feature, you now have the fl exibility to enable or disable the technology while in fl ight. IMPORTANT: Before assigning your desired switch, ensure that the travel for that channel is set at 100% in both directions. -

In Flight Trimming During your fi rst fl ight, trim the aircraft for level fl ight at 3/4 throttle with fl aps and gear up. Make small trim adjustments with your transmitter’s trim 3 Seconds switches to straighten the aircraft’s fl ight path. After adjusting trim, do not touch the control sticks for 3 seconds. -
