    INTENDED USE The Stryker Wheelchair is intended for indoor or outdoor use with or without an attendant. This foldable wheelchair is designed for carrying a maximum weight capacity up to 135kg with comfort with easy-to-use features.

    OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS - USE For the safe use of your wheelchair, in and out of the house, you need to be confident in the main manoeuvres, such as pushing, braking, going back and forth on flat surfaces (can be done with the help of an assistant). Avoid slopes, uneven surfaces etc.

To this end insert the anti-tippers into the rear tube and take care that the safety clip protrudes out of the hole in the back tube, locking the anti-tippers into place.

The second person must hold a fixed part of the front area of the frame, lift the seat and hold it until the first person stands on the next step and so on.

To preserve the chair's stability, it's important to avoid sudden movements that could lead to a shift in your center of gravity.

    TYRE INFLATION – Only if your wheelchair is equipped with pneumatic tyres. If your Stryker Wheelchair is equipped with pneumatic tyres, check the tyre pressure at least once a week. Proper inflation pressures will prolong the life of your tyres and help ensure smooth operation.
  • Page 16 Adjusting footrests – installation, adjustment and removal The Footrests are folding inward for easy transfer. The footrest is adjustable in degrees of inclination. Note: To remove the footrest, squeeze the trigger toward the chair, rotate the footrests outward or inward and raise them.
  • Page 17 Fixing system-adjusting rear wheel The fixing-adjustment system is the most important adjustment for the wheelchair because it determines the center of gravity, the rotation of the chair, the degrees of the wheels and the height of the seat. The center of gravity is determined by the user’s position on the chair. After changing the height of the seat, you may need to adjust the height of the attendant brake handle.
