Getting Started Unpacking • Carton: This product has been packaged to protect it against transportation damage. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging carton and materials in a safe place. Operating Instructions FIRST USE As the appliance and heating coils are supplied with a thin film of grease, there might be a small amount of smoke and odour the first time the appliance is used. This is not harmful to humans and will stop after a short while.

Operating Instructions (Cont.) Switching On • Once the appliance is plugged in, set the ON/OFF switch to the ON [ I ] position. The unit will emit a short beep to indicate that power is supplied. at the same time the flame effect will start and respective indicator light will flash (it will remain on steadily when the heat output has been selected).

Switching Off • To turn off this appliance, there is no need to press the POWER button on the front control panel. • Instead, simply set the ON/OFF switch to the OFF [ O ] position. Please Note: The product has a built-in thermal protection fuse. If something obstructs the air outlet, the temperature protector fuse will be disconnected after reaching a certain temperature.
Other Useful Information Safety features • The heater has a tip-over safety switch, which will turn off the heater if it is knocked over or if it is not in the upright position. Should this occur, stand the heater upright again but take extreme care as it may still be hot. Before restarting the heater, inspect it for damage.
