Server Chassis Features
The StorTrends 3200 Storage Appliance is a high performance chassis that includes the
following features:
Hard Drives
The StorTrends 3200 Storage Appliance Chassis features 16 slots for SAS/SATA drives.
These drives are hot swappable. In other words, once setup correctly, these drives can be
removed without powering down the server. In addition, these drives support SES2
(SAS/SATA).
I/O Expansion slots
The StorTrends 3200 Storage Appliance Chassis includes 7 full I/O expansion slots.
Peripheral Drives
The StorTrends 3200 Storage Appliance Chassis supports one slim DVD-ROM Drive
(included). This drive allow you to quickly install the StorTrends iTX Software.
Other Features
Other onboard features are included to promote system health. These include five cooling
fans, a power switch, reset button, and LED indicators.
