LOADING DISCS
The unit is equipped with three disc trays (tray 1, tray 2 and tray
3), so up to three CDs can be loaded at the same time.

Press one of the 4 buttons corresponding to the
number of the tray to be opened.
CD function is selected as the source automatically, and the
specified CD tray opens.
Load a disc with the label side up and close the
disc tray by pressing the same button you
pressed at step 1.

Load other discs in the same manner.
The disc indicators show the current status of the disc trays.
When a disc is loaded and its information is shown in the display
window, the corresponding indicator lights
in orange.
When a disc is loaded but its information is not shown in the
display window, the corresponding indicator lights
in
green.
When no disc is loaded, the corresponding indicator lights in
red.

Load discs.
To play all discs in the disc trays, press the* button
on the main unit or the * button on the remote
control.
Play begins with the disc on tray 1.
(If another disc is currently selected, i.e., whose disc indicator
lights in orange, play begins with that disc.)
To play one disc only, press the 1>, 2- or 3P
button corresponding to the disc to be played.
Play begins with the first track of the specified disc.

stop play,
press the button.
To
pause play,
press the II button. To resume play, press again.
To
search for a particular point during playback,
keep the
++ or > button pressed and release the button at the desired
point.
To
skip to the beginning of a track during playback,
press
the + or - button repeatedly.
To
remove the disc,
press the ~ button corresponding to the
disc to be removed.
Press the same button again to close the disc tray.
To start play when the power is off (Direct Play
Function)
Press the CD button. The power is turned on and play of the
loaded disc which was played last begins.
Selecting a track with the remote control
You can start play of the desired track on the CD which is currently
selected, i.e., whose disc indicator lights in orange.
Press the numbered buttons and the +1 O button to select a track.
Example:
To select the 25th track, press the +10, +1 O and 5 buttons.
To select the 10th track, press the +1 O and O buttons.
The selected track starts to play and play continues to the end of
that disc.
To
change the display in playback mode
Press the DISPLAY button on the remote control. With each
press of the button, the display changes in the following order.

@ Track number being played and elapsed playing time
(Example: 1 0:25)
@ Track number being played and remaining time of
playback
(Example: 1 -37:51)
Do not use irregular shape CDs (example: heart-shaped,
octagonal ones). It may result in malfunction.
When loading an 8-cm (3-inch) disc, put it onto the inner circle
of the tray.
Do not place more than one compact disc on the disc tray.
Do not use the unit in an inclined position.
Remove all discs when carrying the unit.
When the unit is turned on for the first time after it is connected
to an AC outlet, the tray 1 is selected, regardless of your choice.
