    Gebrauchsanweisung – Hercules Prime Zweckbestimmung Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung / Anwendungsbereiche Der Reha-Autositz Hercules Prime ist ein Medizinprodukt der Klasse 1. Er ist konzipiert für die behindertengerechte Beförderung und zur Einhaltung einer gesicherten Sitzposition des Nutzers mit einem Körpergewicht von bis zu 80 kg in Kraftfahrzeugen.

    Gebrauchsanweisung – Hercules Prime Produktbeschreibung Lieferumfang Ihr Produkt wird in der Grundausstattung vormontiert geliefert. Das eventuell mitbe- stellte Zubehör liegt dem Produkt bei und muss nachträglich montiert werden. Dem Produkt liegt eine Gebrauchsanweisung bei. Zur Aufbewahrung Ihrer Gebrauchsanweisung befindet sich hinten am Rücken des Produktes eine Plastiktasche.

    Gebrauchsanweisung – Hercules Prime Einbau im Fahrzeug Hercules Prime wird an gewünschter Position auf dem Autositz platziert. Die Rü- ckenlehne des Hercules Prime wird stufenlos an den Rückenwinkel des Autositzes angepasst. Der 3-Punkt-Sicherheitsgurt wird zuerst durch die obere rote Gurtführung geführt (Abb. 4), dann durch die im Beckenbereich befindlichen Gurtführungen...

Einstellung Rückenwinkel Nutzen Sie die roten Exzenterhebel an beiden Seites des Hercules Prime Sitzes, um den Rücken des Sitzes an die Rückenlehne des Fahrzeugsitzes anzupassen. (Abb. 8) Achten Sie darauf, dass der Positionierungs-Sitz vollflächig Kontakt mit dem Fahr- zeugsitz hat.
  • Page 22 Der Schrittgurt kann in zwei Positionen auf der Sitzfläche genutzt werden. Lösen Sie den Gurtverschluss und entfernen Sie das Gurtschildpolster und das Sitzpolster von der Sitzplatte. (Abb. 17) Legen Sie den Hercules Prime Sitz am besten auf die Rü- ckenplatte, und lösen Sie die Verschraubung der Sitztiefe. Die zwei Schrauben sind von unten erreichbar.
  • Page 23 Gebrauchsanweisung – Hercules Prime 5-Punkt-Positionierungsgurt Bitte beachten Sie: Der 5-Punkt-Positionierungsgurt dient der Positionierung des Nut- zers im Sitz und schützt ihn nicht bei einem Unfall. Zur Sicherung des Nutzers im Sitz muss immer der im Auto vorhandene 3-Punkt-Sicherheitsgurt genutzt werden.

  • Page 25 Fläche aufliegen. Kissen für Funktionsplatte Legen Sie das Kissen für Funktionsplatten unter den Hercules Prime Sitz auf den Fahr- zeugsitz. (Abb. 30) Es dient dem Ausgleich der Form des Fahrzeugsitzes. Bei einigen Fahrzeugsitz-Modellen besteht wenig direkte Auflagefläche für den Hercules Prime, was besonders beim Drehen zu Beschädigungen des Fahrzeugsitzes führen kann.
  • Page 26 Gebrauchsanweisung – Hercules Prime • „Montagesatz A“ wird benötigt, wenn der Sitz zuvor OHNE eine Drehfunktion ausgestattet war. • „Montagesatz B“ wird benötigt, wenn der Sitz zuvor MIT Drehfunktion ausgestattet war. • „Montagesatz C“ wird IMMER benötigt. Den nicht benötigten Montagesatz („A“ oder “B“) können Sie zur Seite legen.
  • Page 27 Gebrauchsanweisung – Hercules Prime Wenn Sie den äußeren Schlitz verwenden möchten, dann entfernen Sie die Seitenab- deckung und montieren die Thoraxpelotte direkt auf die Rückenplatte. (Abb. 39) Anschließen kletten Sie die Seitenabdeckung wieder auf die Rückenplatte und über die Halterung der Thoraxpelotte.
  • Page 28 Gebrauchsanweisung – Hercules Prime Wählen Sie die Höhe der unteren Querverbindung so, dass sie den Hercules Prime Sitz sicher im Fußraum des Fahrzeugs abstützt. Die Höhe kann über die seitlichen Schrauben angepasst werden. (Abb. 48) Stellen Sie sicher, dass die beiden Inbus- schrauben an der Fußstütze vorhanden sind.
  • Page 29 Kontakt zur Rückenlehne des Fahrzeugs haben. Markieren Sie die gewünschte Position am Übergang von Stabilisierungsbügel und Aufnahme unter der Sitzplatte. Nehmen Sie den Hercules Prime wieder aus dem Fahrzeug und fixieren Sie den Stabi- lisierungsbügel an der markierten Stelle.

Sie bestehen aus einem Stoffbezug und ggf. Einlegern aus Schaum- stoff. Prüfen Sie, ob das Polster einen Reißverschluss oder Klettverschluss hat. Wenn ja, öffnen Sie das Polster und entnehmen Sie vor dem Waschen ggf.

    Intended Purpose Intended Use / Application Areas The Hercules Prime rehab car seat is a class 1 medical device. It is designed to safely transport the physically disabled and to ensure children weigh- ing up to 80 kg are sitting securely in vehicles. The seat is always fastened using the vehicle’s own three-point seat belt.

Any accessories ordered along with the product are included and have to be assembled subsequently. A copy of the Instructions for Use is enclosed with the product.

    Instructions for Use – Hercules Prime Installation in the vehicle Hercules Prime is placed in the desired position on the car seat. The backrest of the Hercules Prime is continuously adjusted to the back angle of the car seat. The 3-point safety belt is first passed through the upper red belt guide (Fig.
  • Page 45 (Fig. 25 B) to the back of the back plates. Back angle adjustment Use the red eccentric levers on both sides of the Hercules Prime seat to adjust the back of the seat to the backrest of the car seat. (Fig. 7) Make sure that the positioning seat is in full contact with the vehicle seat.

  • Page 49 To turn the Hercules Prime, pull the red pull-catch (Fig. 28) and turn the seat towards the open vehicle door. When turning back, make sure that the pull-catch audibly clicks into place.

    Instructions for Use – Hercules Prime Cleaning, Maintenance, and Repair Cleaning, Care Instructions, and Disinfection on a Daily Basis Padding The padding can be easily removed in a few simple steps and washed separately. The padding consists of a fabric cover and sometimes fillers made of foam. Check if the padding has a zipper or a hook and latch fastener.
