• No deviation to design
• These instructions are followed
Third party approval will be required for any non-tested proposal.
Before commencing installation, the "Installation Check List" within DW/145 should be referred to. See "Damper Installation
Certificate" within section 11.

Storage Dampers received on site should be stored in a purpose made storage area, where they can be protected from moisture, dust, and impact damage until required. It is recommended that the blade is only opened and locked in position once the damper has been installed into the fire barrier and ductwork is connected. If set and locked open before installation, handling of the casing can cause the fusible link mechanism to actuate and close the blade.
