Page 5: Safety Warning When Refueling
SAFETY doors and away from doors, windows, and vents that could allow the car- bon monoxide gas to come indoors. ONLY run generator outdoors and away from air intakes. NEVER run generator inside homes, garages, sheds, or other semi-enclosed spaces. These spaces can trap poisonous gases EVEN IF you run a fan or open doors and windows. -

OPERATION ELECTRIC START CAUTION:DO NOT USE STARTING FLUIDS BECAUSE VAPORS ARE FLAMMABLE. Do not actuate starter switch for more than 20 seconds at a time. If engine does not start, wait 1 minute before repeating attempt. If engine does not start aftertwo attempts, use the Troubleshooting Guide to find the cause.Use the following procedure to start the engine. - Page 16 OPERATION CABLE SIZE: Equipment damage can result from low voltage. Therefore, to prevent ex- cessive voltage drop between the generator and the equipment, the cable should be of adequate gauge for the length used. The cable selection chart gives the maximum cable lengths for various gauges of wire which can ad- equately carry the loads shown.

STORAGE STORING GENERATOR SHORT TERM (1-6 MONTHS): If the engine is not to be used for extensive periods, check the storage area conditions and the type of packaging to make sure they are suitable for cor- rect storage. If necessary, cover the engine with a proper protective sheet. Avoid storing the engine in direct contact with the ground, in environments that are humid and exposed to bad weather, near high voltage electric lines, etc. -

REGISTRO DE PRUEBAS DE DISYUNTORES DE FALLA A TIERRA: Al igual que otros dispositivos de seguridad, el GFCI incorporado a estos generadores requiere una inspección mensual para comprobar que funcione correctamente. -
