Operation Button Definitions Power ON/OFF: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power on. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep, and then release the button to switch the device off. Battery Details & Maintenance Battery Installation 1.Open the battery cover. 2.Pay attention to the polarity of the batteries and insert the two new AAA alkaline batteries in the correct way. 3.Cover the battery compartment and press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn on the device. The screen will light up. - Page 21 Battery Details 1.The base of the INKBIRD INT-21-B requires two 1200mah AAA alkaline batteries and acts as a probe charger, fully charging the probe in approximately 30 minute. 2.A fully charged probe can be used continuously for 20 hours. There is no need to worry that the battery will not last for the cooking time you need on any cooking occasion.(Consistently high temperatures can reduce battery life.)
