    1. Overview 1.1 Description The IR Link is a device for conveniently communicating with the SGT & SGT-P single gas detectors. It uses dedicated software provided by SENKO CO., LTD to communicate with the monitor. IR Link enables users to set up calibration concentration levels, alarm set points, and configuration options as well as download logs.

    IR Link 2. Downloading and Installing the Driver 2.1 Download To download the Software, visit the SENKO CO., LTD homepage (www.senko- detection.com) or contact SENKO authorized reseller or service center. 2.2 Software Installation After downloading the file, navigate to the saved location.

    3. Launch the Software 3.1 Software Interface To launch the Software, plug the IR Link to PC and click the icon, allow the software to make changes to the PC (click “Yes”). When Software is opened, the fields are grayed out and before it can be used, the IR Link must be connected to the SGT or SGT-P.

    LOG: By clicking “LOG”, user can download and display a list of the events (see 4.2.1). CALIBRATION: To perform “Zero” and/or “Span” Calibration via IR Link (see 4.2.2). FIRM: Upgrade current firmware to latest one to get more benefit from your device.

    The Log file will be automatically downloaded and can be seen in a new window. 4.2.2 Calibration User can perform both ZERO and SPAN calibrations via IR Link. When click ZERO, the software asks, “Do you want to start Zero Calibration?”. Click “Yes” to proceed the calibration.
