2. Assembling the Valve Step 1 (Screw in the tappet) Screw in the tappet using the MDT 327 - Multi- Function Tool (as shown) or the MDT 310 - Tappet Changing Tool (torque 100-140 cN.m). IMPORTANT NOTE! Do not break the tappet! Step 2a (Mount the Tappet Sealing LX) Place the Tappet Sealing LX on a flat surface (wide side down).

Step 3 (Screw in fluid box body) Equip the fluid box with a heat conducting plate. Screw in the fluid box front screw to fix the heat conducting plate to the fluid box. Use the MDT 329 - offset screw driver. Alternatively, use the MDT 306 - Torque Wrench Tool VM (hexagon socket size 2) or a hexagon socket key for screwing.

Step 9 (Mount the cartridge holder) Mount the cartridge holder TA onto the valve. Screw it tight with the 2 screws for the cartridge holder (torque 40 – 50 cN.m). Use the MDT 329 or a hexagon socket key size 2. Hook the heater connection of the fluid box into the cartridge holder (see arrow).
3. Wiring of the MDS 3252-FH IMPORTANT NOTE! For cooling, use only compressed air tubes of at least 6 mm diameter, to guarantee a sufficient air flow. 1. Connect all the cables according to the complete setup in the picture below. 2.
Channel ON/OFF: Set to ON Wait until the temperature is settled. Wait 20 minutes, until the system is heated up. Caution: System is hot. Do not touch the parts. Proceed the Adjust (Adjust value: 0.0 – 1.0 %, detailed information please refer to chapter 4). 4.
Step 2 (Turn in adjust screw) In the display appears “Screw IN for Adjust”. After a few seconds, the initial message disappears from the display. Instead, the following message appears: “-40 % slowly Adjust Screw IN”. Screw the adjust screw slowly inward (clockwise).

The initial adjust needs the same preparations as the adjust. Make sure that the nozzle fixation nut is absolutely tight. Initial Adjust, Step 1 (Starting initial adjust) When you start the MDC, you get the following message on the display: “Please do Adjust Press Enter”.

Screw open the adjust screw completely (screw counter-clockwise to open). Afterwards press the [enter]-key. Wait until a new message appears in the display. Initial Adjust, Step 5 (Screw in adjust screw) For a few moments, the message “Screw IN for Adjust”...
5. Disassembling the Valve The dispensing process must be completed. The valve is in closed position. If you cannot dismount and clean the system immediately after the dispensing, follow the three steps below. 1. Turn off the heater channels and the supply pressure. Wait until the system is partially down.

Step 6 (Squeeze out the nozzle insert) In most cases, the nozzle insert will stay inside the nozzle fixation nut. Use the MDT 323 - Nozzle Insert - Squeezing out Tool TA to squeeze the nozzle insert out of the nozzle fixation nut.
6. Cleaning Step 1: Pre-cleaning Before placing the components into the beaker, make sure that all parts are free from media. If needed, push a cleaning rod or a fluidic brush through the channels of all components that were exposed to media (as shown with the examples on the right).
