RTS Receiver for animeo® IP V2 Instructions

Description
The RTS Receiver for animeo® IP V2 allows RTS communication within an
animeo IP system. Using this device, window treatments can be operated
locally by hand-held RTS transmitters.
• Each RTS Receiver can memorize up to five transmitters/channels.
• Each RTS Receiver can store up to five group addresses for SDN.
• Mount the receiver away from any surrounding metal with the antenna
pointing up for best reception.

Set Up
1. Connect the RTS Receiver to the power port of the bus power supply.
2. Once the RTS Receiver is connected, the LED will be lit until a transmitter is programmed.
3. Press and hold the program button on the RTS transmitter until the LED on the receiver turns off. Release the program button, the
LED will light again.
• The LED on the receiver should flash each time a button on the transmitter is pressed.
4. Refer to the animeo® IP/RS485 Operating Manual to complete set-up within Somfy's animeo® IP visual configuration software.

• Connect a PC to the IP BUS port of the BuCo using an ethernet connection.
Assign Address - SDN
Programming Additional RTS Transmitters:
Press and hold the programming button of a Situo transmitter previously memorized by the RTS Receiver until the LED on the
receiver turns on. Press and release the programming button on the new transmitter or channel. The LED on the receiver will turn off,
indicating this transmitter has been memorized. Repeat this procedure for each transmitter or channel, up to five total.
Deleting an RTS Transmitter from Memory:
Press and hold the programming button of a Situo transmitter previously memorized by the RTS Receiver, but not the one to be
removed from memory. Continue holding the button until the LED on the receiver turns on. Press and release the programming
button on the transmitter or channel to be removed from memory. The LED on the receiver will turn off, and that transmitter will no
longer operate the RTS receiver.
Removing All RTS Transmitters and Group Addresses:
Press and hold the reset button on the RTS Receiver for at least five seconds. On release, the LED will
turn on, indicating that no transmitters or group addresses are memorized.
