245CFV Clearview Front
CSA approved for use with Valor P2 200 Models only

A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot
viewing glass is provided with this appliance and must be
installed for the protection of children and other at-risk
individuals.
The 245CFV Clearview Front can be installed on the P2 200 fi replace model either in zero clearance or insert
applications using the 235BPB1 or 235BPB2 (fl at) Backing Plates, or in insert applications when fully inserted into
a solid-fuel burning cavity using the 235SBPB1 Reduced-depth Backing Plate, which allows a cavity of a minimum
depth of 12 inches.
Once installed, both the 245CFV and backing plate are fl ush with the bottom of the appliance. The backing plate sits
fl at against the wall fi nish or masonry, and the front trim protrudes slightly from the plate.
See separate instructions provided with the backing plate used for your installation. The backing plate must be
installed prior to installation of this front.
