In order to protect your privacy and corporate data and avoid network security issues, it is recommended to set strong password that meets security requirements.

Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Chapter 1 Introduction Overview Designed with reference to the Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA), the Multi-Functional Video Center (hereinafter referred to as the MVC or the device) supports matrix switching of analog and digital videos, video encoding and decoding, and network real-time preview.

Connect the device and the computer to the same LAN. Visit https://www.hikvision.com/en/support/tools/hitools/clea8b3e4ea7da90a9/ download the SADP client from the Hikvision website and install the SADP client on the computer. Open the SADP client. Select the device that is not activated, enter the activation password and confirm it, and click Activate.
Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Activate the Device via Web Browser Use a network cable to connect a computer to the device. Set an IP address for the computer. To ensure the normal communication between the computer and device, the IP address of the computer should be in the range of 192.0.0.2 to 192.0.0.253 (excluding 192.0.0.64).
Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Login Page Click Log In. Configure the Network Address Go to Configuration → Network → Network Configuration → TCP/IP. Configure the Device IPv4 Address Select the NIC type. Set the IPv4 address, IPv4 subnet mask, and IPv4 gateway. If you use the domain name to access the device, set the preferred and alternative DNS server.
Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Remove the network cable that connects the device and computer, and use the network cable to connect the device to the same network as the computer. Make sure the computer and device are in the same network segment. Enter the configured device IP address in the web browser of the computer to log in to the web page of the device.
Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Click Save. Configure a Video Wall Go to Video Wall Configuration, select a video wall in the upper left corner and click Configure. Video Wall Configuration Page According to the actual screen type and quantity, select the video wall type, set the video wall scale, select the decoding output resolution, and click Save.
Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual After setting the video wall scale, you can click Edit Video Wall Scale to change the video wall scale. Edit the Video Wall Scale A video wall can contain one screen or multiple screens. At a time, one screen can join only one video wall, and one output port can be bound with only one screen.

Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Customize the name. Set the output mode of the device according to the actual connection between the device and the screen. You can select HDMI or DVI. The DVI mode has better compatibility and the HDMI mode supports embedded audio output.
Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Click Unlink All Output Ports at the top of the Video Wall Configuration page, then click OK on the pop-up window. Click Display Output No. at the top of the Video Wall Configuration page to display the output port number on the screen.

Link to Audio On the Video Wall Configuration page, click Audio Configuration and select Link to Audio. Link to Audio Click at the upper right corner of an output audio to set it as the output audio of the video wall.

Preview Signal Source Click Clear Window at the top of the Video Wall Operation page to clear all bound signal source windows.

Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Configure a Text Subtitle Select Text for the subtitle type and enter the subtitle content. Adjust the subtitle position and size. Adjust the font size, font color, font direction, alignment, background color, and background transparency.
Multi-Functional Video Center • User Manual Configure a Time Subtitle Up to 128 scenes are supported. Go to Video Wall Operation to manage scenes. Click Save Scene to save the current video wall configuration as a new scene or overwrite the existing scene.
