In order to protect your privacy and corporate data and avoid network security issues, it is recommended to set strong password that meets security requirements.

    Video Wall Controller • User Manual Chapter 1 Introduction Overview As a new-generation FPGA-based pure hardware image processing device, the video wall controller (hereinafter referred as the device) supports the input, processing, and output of multi-channel HD and ultra-HD signals. The device adopts the structure of main control board, input boards, and output boards to achieve multi-screen management.

    Password cannot contain user name, 123, admin, 4 or more continuously ascending or descending digits, or 4 or more consecutive repeated characters. Activate the Device via SADP Software Download the SADP software from the Hikvision website and install the SADP software. Open the SADP software. Select the device that is not activated.

Set an IP address for the computer. To ensure the normal communication between the computer and device, the IP address of the computer should be in the range of 192.0.0.2 to 192.0.0.253 (excluding 192.0.0.64).

Log In to the Device via Web Browser Enter the device’s default IP address in the web browser of the computer.

    Video Wall Controller • User Manual Select the NIC type. Set the IPv4 address, IPv4 subnet mask, and IPv4 gateway. Click Save. Remove the network cable that connects the device and computer, connect the device to the on-site network through network cable or Wi-Fi, and connect the computer to the on-site network through network cable or Wi-Fi.

    Video Wall Controller • User Manual Set the Video Wall Scale After setting the video wall scale, you can click Edit Video Wall Scale to change the video wall scale. Edit the Video Wall Scale A video wall can contain one screen or multiple screens. At a time, one screen can join only one video wall, and one output port can be bound with only one screen.
  • Page 14 Bind Output Ports with Video Wall If you use Hikvision CEC screens to configure the video wall, click Edit Wall Scale and select Auto Configure. Thus, the CEC screens will be automatically bound with the output ports of the corresponding video wall according to the serial number set on the remote control.

Enable Move to set the movement speed. The subtitle will scroll according to the set speed. Go to Configuration → Other Settings → Sub-board Mode Settings.  If you select Copy Mode, the output port 2 will copy the image of the output port 1, only the output port 1 can be bound with the video wall, and the maximum resolution is 4K 60 fps.
