raw and cooked vegetables and fruit into
cubes and julienne shapes. Do not use
them for frozen ingredients, stone fruit, or
meat with bones.
• Place the dicing or julienne cutting
inserts into the recess of the interior
lid with the attachment's blades facing
upwards. Exercise particular care to
prevent injury.
• Fix the blade attachment onto the
interior lid and close the brackets to
securely connect both parts.
• Place the insert into the jug so that it
is straight and secure.
• Replace the lid and turn it counter-
clockwise until it locks into place.
• Attach the hand blender's motor
housing to the lid by turning until it
clicks.
• Remove the plunger and only then add
the ingredients.
• Switch Sam on and use the plunger to
push down the ingredients.
• Once the ingredients have been
processed, remove the motor housing
by pressing the button where it is
connected and remove the hand
blender by lifting it.
• Remove the lid by turning it clockwise.
• Remove the interior lid with the insert,
release the brackets, remove the blade
insert, and also the dicing or julienne
cutting inserts.
• Remove the ingredients from the jug.
Tip:
• Cut the ingredients to a size such
that they fit through the feed chute
without getting stuck.
• To process several ingredients in
succession, start with the softest
ingredients and progress to the
hardest.
• The insert can easily bend if they are
exposed to excessive loads. Should this
happen, carefully bend them back into
their correct shape.
Cutting and grating disks
Use the cutting disks to cut or grate
vegetables, fruit, and cheese. Please note
that both sides of the cutting disks can be
used.
• Place the julienne cutting insert for
the grating and cutting disks into the
jug.
• Place the attachment you wish to use
on the pin and ensure that it is secured
well.
• Replace the lid and turn it counter-
clockwise until it locks into place.
• Attach the hand blender's motor
housing to the lid by turning until it
clicks.
• Remove the plunger and only then add
the ingredients.
• Switch Sam on and use the plunger to
