Possible cause
based on priority
Ensure the return sensor (near the bottom of the heat
Temperature sensor
exchanger) is connected to the two blue wires and it
disconnected
securely clipped on the outlet pipe.
Check the return sensor for water damage, try
swapping the supply and return temperature sensors.
Faulty Temperature Sensor
Check sensor resistance see temperature/ resistance
chart.
Inspect the wiring between the return sensor and
Damaged sensor wiring
PCB, check for continuity, corrosion and water
damage, ensure connectors are plugged in properly
Outdoor reset turned on (but
If not using outdoor reset, ensure Menu 4.2.1, 5.2.1
not used)
and 6.2.1 are set to 0.
If using Wi-Fi the boiler gets the outdoor temperature

sensor must be connected to the master boiler. If not
running in a cascade set parameter 0.4.6 to b-Sin.
Check the system sensor for water damage and
Faulty Temperature Sensor
disconnected wiring . Check sensor resistance see
or wiring
temperature/ resistance chart. Ensure the system
sensor is connected to the master boiler.
If not using a floor sensor set parameter 223 is set to 0.
Incorrect setting
If parameter 223 is set to 1 and a floor safety
thermostat is present reduce the CH set-point.
Verify that the 3 way valve operates freely between
3-way valve stuck
central heat and DHW. See diverting valve stuck.
Floor sensor set too low, adjust setting correctly. If
Floor sensor open circuit
the floor sensor is set correctly verify proper system
operation.
Inspect the wiring between the supply sensor and
Damaged sensor wiring
PCB, check for continuity, corrosion and water
damage, ensure connectors are plugged in properly.
