The system can be powered in 3 ways: 230 V AC, 12 V DC or rechargeable battery included, with LED charge level indicator and charger in the equipment. There is also a hole in the base for a speaker stand with 20 mm Ø tube and models ASH-11U-T and ASH-12U-T have a transport bag with trolley. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION Do not switch the equipment on without previously reading the instructions for use section. -

CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS The controls for models ASH-11U and ASH-11U-T are shown below. Models ASH-12U and ASH-12U-T are the same but with a second VHF receiver and second wireless microphone. BACK PANEL 1.- Wireless VHF microphone receiver aerial. 2.- LED indicator for reception of wireless VHF microphone RF signal. - Page 6 13.- CD/MP3 player disc slot. 14.- CD/MP3 player display. 15.- 3: to stop CD/MP3 playback. 16.- 7/8: pressing these buttons lets you choose the previous/following song and holding them down is for fast forwarding or rewinding. 17.- +/-: output volume controls for the CD/MP3 player. 18.- q: on/off button for the CD/MP3 player.

Page 7: Rechargeable Battery
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY To charge the battery connect the equipment to a 230 V AC mains connection using the power cable and switch it on with the AC switch on the back panel. Keep the equipment connected to the mains and switched on while it is charging. - Page 8 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF HAND-HELD WIRELESS MICROPHONE 1.- Battery compartment cover: unscrew this cover to access the battery compartment. Use an LR6-AA type battery, preferably alkaline. When you insert the battery, make sure that the polarity is correct. 2.- Power switch: it has 3 positions, ON, STANDBY and OFF. Move it to the ON position to switch on. Move the switch to the central position (STANDBY) to save battery and the microphone will switch on immediately when you move it to the ON position.
