    All rights reserved by FONESTAR, S.A. DESCRIPTION The model AS-150R is a stereo hi-fi amplifier with digital AM/FM radio tuner with 64 pre-tuned channels (32 pre-tuned AM channels and 32 pre-tuned FM channels) and RDS which shows information on the tuned station.

    It has a USB player of MP3 files with ID3 incorporated to show the names of the tracks, of the album, etc. and it accepts USB memories and hard discs. It also counts on an AM/FM digital radio tuner with 64 pre- tuned channels with RDS showing information on the tuned station.
  • Page 5 8.- VCR/MEMORY/3: Choose the VCR input. With the radio receiver it memorizes radio stations with the MEMORY function, when the radio station that you want to memorize is tuned, press the MEMORY button. The text “MEMORY…--“ will be shown on the display. Choose the group (A, B, C or D) and the memory position (1 to 8) where you want the station to be saved.

    BACK PANEL FM COAX: Input connector for FM aerial. AM LOOP ANT: Input connector for AM aerial. SPEAKER OUTPUT B: Speaker B output, left and right channel. SPEAKER OUTPUT A: Speaker A output, left and right channel. NOTE: If speakers are only connected to one of the output groups (A or B), the output must be charged with an impedance of 4 to 16 Ω.

    REMOTE CONTROL AS-170RU AS-150R 1.- VCR, AUX/PHONO, CD, DVD: Choose the corresponding audio input. 2.- A-D or POP, CLASSIC, P+BASS, C+BASS: In radio mode, these choose the pre-tuned memory group. In USB player mode they choose an equalisation (*). 3.- AUTO/RANDOM: In radio mode pressing this button tunes into and automatically stores the most powerful radio stations.

    the radio station that you want to memorize is tuned in, press the MEMORY button. The display will show the text “MEMORY…--“. Select the group (A, B, C or D) and the memory position (1 to 8) where you want to store the station. Once chosen, the text “MEMORY…OK” will automatically appear on the display.

    BASIC CONNECTIONS Use the appropriate cable to connect the audio sources to the corresponding audio input. In the majority of cases the cable must have codified red and white RCA connectors. Example of a DVD connection: 1. Connect the DVD, OUT L and R audio output to the amplifier, DVD L and R audio input. 2.

    SPEAKER CONNECTION SPEAKER CABLE CONNECTION 1. Loosen the connectors from the speaker output. 2. Insert the stripped end of the cable (remove approximately 5 mm of the insulation from the cable). 3. Tighten the connectors from the speaker output. 4. The connection can also be made with banana plugs. When you connect the speakers make sure you respect the polarity between the speaker cables and connection terminals (the + speaker terminal is connected to the + amplifier terminal).

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE REMOTE CONTROL Insert the batteries in the remote control respecting the polarity. To use the remote control, point it at the front panel of the amplifier at a maximum angle of 30° from a perpendicular line with the front panel and at a maximum distance of 6m.

    RADIO TUNER To choose the radio tuner as a sound source press the button TUNER. If you want to select another sound source with the radio tuner already selected press the TUNER(EXIT) button and then the desired sound source button, DVD, CD, VCR, AUX. Firstly, you can choose the AM or FM frequency band with the corresponding AM/FM button.

    MAXIMUM VOLUME AND INITIAL VOLUME With the menu option of maximum volume (Max Vol) the maximum output volume can be limited. To access this option press the menu button various times, with an external source selected (DVD, CD, AUX/PHONO), and select the maximum volume value with the volume control.The Initial volume option (Init Vol) lets you select the volume level for when the amplifier is turned on (if the volume when it is turned off is louder than the initial volume).
