N Series Duct Type Unit 1 Safety Notices (Please Be Sure To Abide) SPECIAL WARNING: Do not pierce or burn. Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odor. The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (for example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater). - Page 6 N Series Duct Type Unit PROHIBITED (1) The air conditioner should be grounded to avoid electric shock. Do not connect the ground wire to gas pipe, water pipe, lightning arrester or telephone wire. - Page 27 N Series Duct Type Unit 3.2.4 Connection Pipe Vacuum Pumping NOTICE Make sure the outlet of vacuum pump is away from fire source and is well- ventilated. (1) Remove the caps of the liquid valve, gas valve and also the service port. (2) Connect the hose at the low pressure side of the manifold valve assembly to the service port of the unit’s gas valve, and meanwhile the gas and liquid valves should be kept closed in case of refrigerant leak.

- Page 29 N Series Duct Type Unit 3.2.6.1 Indoor Side Drainage Pipe NOTICE Install the drain hose in accordance with the instructions in this installation manual and keep the area warm enough to prevent condensation. Problems with the piping may lead to water leaks. (1) Install the drain hose with downward gradient (1/50 to 1/100) and no risers or traps are used for the hose.
