(Q1546A only). This problem is currently being
investigated and will be corrected in the next
revision of Library and Tape tools. This note
will be updated once the problem has been
corrected but until then do not use Library and
Tape Tools to diagnose issues with this
product. This problem only relates to the
Q1546A product, no other DAT 40 variants are
affected.

Stuck tape issue
Try in the following order:
1.
Manually press the Eject
2.
Perform a Forced
3.
Power cycle the
drive.
4.
Check for conflicts in backup software
5.
Check SCSI/HBA/Driver configuration of the
6.
Check the software has not sent a prevent media removal
7.
Run Library and Tape Tools device analysis
8.
Upgrade to the latest
9.
