    If any problem is noticed upon reception, immediately contact the transport com- pany and/or CIRCUTOR's after-sales service. 2 - PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The CBS-40A /CBS-400A is a type-A ultraimmunized earth leakage protection and monitoring station for 4 independent channels that is compatible with the earth leakage transformers in the WGS/WGC range.

    The CBS-40A /CBS-400A device must be installed by authorised and qualified staff. The power supply plug must be disconnected and measurement systems switched off before handling, altering the connections or replacing the device.

    LED is off, the user still needs to verify that the device is disconnected from any power supply. The CBS-40A /CBS-400A has to be connected to a power circuit that is protected with a circuit-break- er or equivalent device to disconnect the device from the mains supply.

    3�5�3� DISTRIBUTION OF THE CONDUCTORS IN THE WGS/WGC All the active conductors that feed the loads or part of the installation where earth leakage protection or monitoring is required must pass through the WGS/WGC transformer associated with the CBS-40A /CBS-400A.

Unexpected disconnections may occur in the installation if the WGS/WGC is associated to a differential relay that actuates the circuit breaker.

    CBS-40A, CBS-400A 4.- OPERATION 4�1 - PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The CBS-40A /CBS-400A is a type-A ultraimmunized earth leakage protection and monitoring station for 4 independent channels that is compatible with the earth leakage transformers in the WGS/WGC range. The device measures, calculates and displays the residual current of balanced or unbalanced three- phase industrial networks.
