Installation and Mounting:
Step 1. Remove the plastic covers from the driver and passenger
outer sun visor pivot brackets as shown in Figure 1. Remove the
three (3) Torx screws from each pivot bracket as shown in Figure 2
and pull the visor pivot brackets down from the headliner. Thread
the screws all the way back into the plastic pivot bracket for easier
assembly later.
Step 2. Pry open the small cover on the sun visor retaining clip
with a small flat blade screwdriver to gain access to the sun visor
retaining clip screw. Remove the single Torx screw that holds
each clip in place. Note: The plastic visor clips are held to the
headliner fabric with stamped sheet metal clips that are located
above the headliner fabric. Carefully pull and angle the plastic clips
back and forth from side to side until the stamped sheet metal clips
release the plastic clips from the headliner as shown in Figure 3.
Remove the stamped clips and discard them so they don't interfere
with the Unit's Installation or cause rattles after the installation.
Thread the Torx screw back into the plastic clip just slightly for easier
assembly later.
Step 3. Apply the provided gasket material to the back edge of the
supervisor product as shown in Figure 4.
Step 4. Mount the appropriate brackets to the bracket in
the positions shown in Figure 5. Leave screws loose for final
adjustments.
Step 5. Slide the vanity light wires through the slot in the bracket
and position the product in position.
Step 6. Reinstall the sun visor retaining clip using the vehicles
existing hardware. Leave screws loose for final adjustments.
Step 7. Reinstall the sun visor pivot bracket using the vehicle
