Pre Start Checks; Starting Up The Unit For The First Time - Samsung AE080BXYDEG Installation And Setup

PRE START CHECKS

Please check the following items before starting and powering up the unit:
Ensure that both the internal and external units are plumbed up currently and wired correctly.
The system should be fully flushed in both directions at 110% of the systems required flow rate.
A suitable strainer must be fitted to protect the outside unit this should be check post flushing of the
system, we also recommend an external magnetic filter.
Power the unit up at least 8 hr before to allow the sufficient power to the compressor heater.
Pre mixed glycol should be added to the system, DO NOT add neat glycol as this will cause circulation
issues.
Make sure the system is vented of air and all isolation valves are open.
Make sure that a correctly sized expansion vessel and safety valve are installed to the system.
When starting the unit in Low Ambient conditions when the Inlet Water Temp is less than 10°c, the
immersion heater
STARTING UP THE UNIT
FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Turn on the power to internal MIM unit first, then turn on the power to the external unit.
2.The outdoor unit will start flashing and the internal controller will flash (scanning) while connecting the
indoor unit to outdoor unit.
3.Once scanning disappears from the screen the system is ready to test.
