The manufacturer's number for the part.

each instrument - at the first appearance of the part number in
the list for that instrument.

reference designation prefix MP.

ORDERING INFORMATION

To order a part listed in the Replaceable Parts Lists,
quote the Hewlett-Packard part number with its check digit (CD)
indicate the quantity, and address the order to the nearest
Hewlett-Packard Office. The check diait will ensure accurate and
timely processing of your order.

To order a part that is not listed in the Replaceable Parts
List, include the instrument model number,
instrument serial
number, description and function of the part, and the number of
parts required. Address the order to the nearest Hewlett-Packard
Office.
