Smart Cruise Control - Based on Driving Style
SCC is a Driving Convenience function that helps maintain distance
from the vehicle ahead and drive at a speed set by the driver by
reflecting the learned driving style of the driver.
● When SCC is inactive (Off/Standby), the function learns the
driver's driving style (inter-vehicle distance, acceleration, and
reaction speed).
● When SCC is activated, the function stops learning and drives
automatically by reflecting the learned driving style.
To turn function ON or OFF, with the vehicle on, select
> Driver Assistance > Driving Convenience > Smart Cruise Control >
Based on Driving Style
LEADING VEHICLE DEPARTURE ALERT
The Leading Vehicle Departure Alert system alerts the driver of the
departure of the vehicle in front when the vehicle is stopped and the
Smart Cruise Control (SCC) is in activation.
To use the function, with the
Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Driver Attention Warning >
enable Leading Vehicle Departure
When a detected vehicle in front departs from a
stop, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert will inform
the driver by displaying the "Leading vehicle is
driving away" message on the instrument cluster
and an audible warning will sound.
NOTE: The system stops operation when the
setting is deactivated. However, if the
turned off then on again, the system maintains in
the previous state.
