Turning Off the Vehicle

1. Stop the vehicle and
the brake pedal fully.
2. Shift to P (Park).
3. Apply the parking brake.
4. Press the EV Start/Stop button to the OFF position.
5. Make sure
Emergency Situations
Shutting Off the Vehicle while Driving
A) Press and hold
for more than 2 seconds.
B) Or rapidly press and release
3 times within 3 seconds.
Restarting the Vehicle while Driving
If the vehicle is still moving, you can restart the vehicle without
depressing the brake pedal by
gear in the N (Neutral)
When Smart Key is not working properly
If the smart key battery is weak or the smart key does not work correctly,
press the EV Start/Stop button with the smart
IONIQ 5 N
