Remove the speakers (4) from the computer.
NOTE:
The absence of or damage to these isolators can result in degraded speaker performance.
To replace the speakers, reverse the removal procedures.

Fan

To remove the fan, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing the fan, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the fan:
1.
Disconnect the fan cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Release the display tuner cable from the retention clips (2) that are built into the fan.
3.
Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (3) that secure the fan to the system board.
When removing the speakers, make note of the location of the rubber isolator locations (5).
