4.1 Security settings

To prevent your phone from being misused by
other people, you can set a screen lock and a SIM
card lock here. You can also specify how your
phone will be protected when apps are installed.
Fingerprint function

When the fingerprint function is activated,
your smartphone can only be unlocked by you.
• Setting up the fingerprint function
1. Open Settings > Security > Biometric &
password > Fingerprint.
2. Enter your screen lock PIN or set a PIN now.
3. Read the information on setting up the fingerprint
function and then select I agree.
4. Place a finger on the fingerprint sensor on the
on/off button and follow the instructions on the
screen.
5. Complete the fingerprint scanning process by
tapping on Finish.
You can scan in up to five fingerprints.
• Unlocking your smartphone using a fingerprint
Place one of the fingers you've scanned in on the
fingerprint sensor.
This will immediately unlock the screen.
Protecting your smartphone is not the only thing you
can use the fingerprint function for. You can also log
in to apps or authorise a purchase with a fingerprint.
