The definitions below describe the level of severity for each
signal word. Please read the manual and pay attention to
these symbols.

DANGER: Indicates an imminently hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or
serious injury.

WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.

CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury.
NOTICE: Indicates a practice not related to
personal injury which, if not avoided, may result in
property damage.

Denotes risk of electric shock.

Denotes risk of fire.
Specific Safety Rules for Lights

WARNING: Do not place the light in a position which
may cause anyone to intentionally or unintentionally
stare into the light. Serious eye injury could result.

WARNING: Fire hazard. Do not operate light or charger
near flammable liquids or in gaseous or explosive
atmospheres. Internal sparks may ignite fumes causing
personal injury.

Additional Safety Rules for Work Lights

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, do not place
anything next to or on top of the lens during or after
operation of the light.

CAUTION: Do not put any magnets near the ON/OFF
switch. The light could be turned on by a strong magnet
near the work light's switch.
Risk of electric shock. Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
Do not submerge work light in any liquid.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Before using work light, read all instructions and
cautionary markings on work light, charger and battery.
Store the work light indoors when not in use. Keep out of
reach of children.
Place the work light away from any heat source.
Do not disassemble work light. Take it to an authorized service
center when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly
may result in a risk of electric shock, electrocution or fire.
Remove the battery pack from the work light before
attempting any cleaning. This will reduce the risk of
electric shock.
The temperature of the aluminum case inside the
bumper is high. Take care to avoid coming into contact with
the hot surface.
Residual Risks
