Settings
Controls / Display 
Language 
The display can be set to appear in one
of several different languages.
The flag  after the word Language
(Sprache in German) acts as a guide in
case a language which is not under-
stood has been set.
The language selected is saved.

Consumption

In this setting you can check the saved
energy and water consumption values
and enter the energy cost.
Options

Previous programme
Shows the consumption for the last
wash programme carried out.

Total consumption
Shows the sum of the energy and the
sum of the water used by the previ-
ous programmes.

Set the cost
You can enter the cost for energy
(electricity) and water.

Code

The code prevents the washing ma-
chine being used without your know-
ledge.
Options
-
Activate
If you activate the code, you have to
enter a code after switching the
washing machine on. Otherwise it
cannot be operated.
The factory default code is 125.

Change
If wished, you can set a different
three-digit code.
Do not forget the code you have
set.
If you forget the code, only Miele
Technical Service can unlock the
washing machine.
Make a note of your new code.

Deactivate
The washing machine is to be oper-
ated again without entering a code.
This only appears if the code had
been activated previously.

Memory

The washing machine will save the last
settings (temperature, spin speed and
some of the Extras) selected for a pro-
gramme after the programme has star-
ted.
When the programme is chosen again,
the saved settings will appear in the dis-
play.
Memory is deactivated as standard.

Clock display

After selecting the Clock format you
can set the time of day.
Clock format
- 24 h clock (default setting)
- 12 h clock
Set
- The time of day can be set.
