• A roll of 24-exposure film takes about 13 seconds to
rewind.
• Before opening the back cover, check that [ Q
is
blinking.
• When the camera is not in use, set the drive mode
switch to the [ L ^ position.
• The shutter may be released a frame or more after the
specified number of frames have been used as indi¬
cated by the number of frames on the film cartridge.
However, those extra frames may be lost in the proc¬
essing. When you take important pictures, rewind the
film when the film reaches the number of frames indi¬
cated on the film cartridge.

* Rewinding a Roll of Film in Mid-Roll
If you wish to unload the film before exposing all the
frames, use this function.
• Set the drive mode switch to a position other than the
[ L
] position, and then depress the mid-roll rewind
button by using the protruding part of the strap clamp.
• Before opening the back cover, check that : O ] is
blinking.
