1. Peel off the sheathing from the

Right channels. Follow the color markings of plugs
and terminals to make

Connect all pin-plugs securely, pushing them complet-
ly into the jacks. Incomplete
connections

AM
antenna
is used,

loop antenna

CAUTION

Binding

connection
cables
to power
cords,

running such cables close to power supply transfor-
mers will cause humming or noise, and should thus be
avoided.
Protective
Circuit
This set is equipped with a high speed protective circuit.
This circuit protects the internal circuitry from damaye due
to large currents flowing when the speaker jacks ae not
completely connected or when an output is generatecd by a
short circuit.
This protective circuit's operation cuts off the outpuito the
speakers. In such a case, be sure to turn the powerto the
set off and check the connections to the speakers.
Then
turn the power on again. After muting for several sesonds,
the set will operate
normally.
