Howdy,
I have 2 eg4 280 ah all weather batteries side by side on a solar trailer. Working great for the past 1.5 years. Now 1 battery breaker will not reset. Tried to read the manual , but could not locate a reason for this issue.
No alarm led illuminated . Battery at 100% charge & standby.
Is this a communication issue,
Any help appreciated.
Thank you

The breaker may not reset despite the battery being fully charged and having no alarm LED illuminated due to the BMS being in low voltage protection or sleep mode. If the battery was deeply discharged, the voltage might be too low for the BMS to start. In this case, contacting the distributor is recommended for further troubleshooting.

There are several websites and organizations that will accept this battery to recycle at little to no cost to the user. At EG4, we understand that we are working with customers across the United States and the world. Our recommendation is to go online and search the term “Lithium Battery Disposal Near Me.”...

The state of the battery when placed into storage will affect how long it can be stored as well as the battery’s condition when it is brought out of storage. EG4 recommends that each battery is brought to a 100% SOC (state of charge) before placing them in storage. Lithium batteries will lose a certain percentage of their total charge while in storage, depending on how long they are stored and the conditions they are stored in.
