OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS – GRIDDLE
1. Place the unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Make sure to keep
the unit away from other heat sources and place it at least 8 inches
away from any walls or corners.
2. Install the griddle, as outlined in the GRIDDLE ATTACHMENT section.
Make sure the drip tray is installed as outlined in the BEFORE THE
FIRST USE section.
3. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
4. Turn on the power by setting the control knob to the desired
temperature setting. Allow the unit to preheat for 15 minutes.
WARNING: The griddle gets hot, do not touch it directly to avoid burns.
5. After preheating, place the food on the griddle to cook. See the
TEMPERATURE ZONES section in this manual for details on each
zone's function.
6. Once cooking is complete, set the temperature control knob to OFF
and allow the unit to cool down completely.
7. Once it is fully cooled down, remove the griddle and drip tray
following the instructions in the GRIDDLE ATTACHMENT section of this
manual.
CAUTION:
ALWAYS unplug the cord from the wall socket before cleaning.
NEVER immerse the unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
NEVER use metal utensils.
NEVER remove the griddle attachment while it is still hot.
ALWAYS empty and hand-wash the drip tray after each use.
