    TOOL ANATOMY WHAT IS THE BPP1305 CRIMPING TOOL? The BPP1305 is a battery powered 130kN cable crimping tool with “C” style head. The BPP1305 accepts standard “C” dies 62kN, 80kN and 130kN and is capable of crimping copper and aluminum connectors up to 300mm² (600 MCM). DO NOT put fingers, hands or other body parts inside the crimping head.

    USING THE TOOL USING THE BPP1305 DO NOT CRIMP LIVE CABLES KEEP HANDS CLEAR OF Set the Trigger Lock BEFORE inserting THE MOVING PARTS or removing dies from the Crimping Head. Set the trigger lock. Insert battery. Insert the die into the crimping head.

  • Page 11 USING THE TOOL INTELED SYSTEM The InteLED light ring shows you the status of the crimp in real-time. White - The tool is crimping. InteLED will stay lit for 30 seconds after the crimp is complete. Green - The tool has developed full hydraulic pressure during the crimp. The crimp is good. Red - The tool did not develop full pressure during the crimp.

    DUBUIS Crimp software provides valuable data about each crimp. It is also required to update the tool firmware. INSTALLATION 1. Download the DUBUIS Crimp software from the STANLEY Infrastructure website. www.stanleyinfrastructure.com/products/cordless-td Note: DUBUIS Crimp software requires a minimum of Windows XP SP3 running with administrator rights.

TOOL INFORMATION The Tool Information tab displays important data about the BPP1305. 1. Displays the product type, serial number and firmware version of the tool. 2.

Displays the total number of tool cycles, as well as completed and incomplete cycles. 1. The data log shows each cycle, up to 250,000 cycles. Each entry into the log includes; •...
  • Page 15 CRIMP SOFTWARE The Worksite Reports tab allows you to group data log entries into a complete tool cycle report. 1. Click “Create Report”. 2. Select the date range of the job you are reporting. 3. Select the crimp cycles you want to include in the report. 4.
  • Page 16 CRIMP SOFTWARE AVAILABLE UPDATES The Available Updates tab will allow you to update the tool firmware and update DUBUIS Crimp software. 1. Tool Firmware Update button. When clicked, this will begin to tool firmware update process. Do not unplug the tool during this process.

    TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Solution The tool won’t crimp when I press the trigger. Ensure the battery is charged. Disengage the trigger lock. The InteLED flashes yellow when I activate the tool. The maintenance interval is about to elapse. Have the tool serviced as soon as possible. The tool repeatedly give me bad crimps / The InteLED Ensure the battery is fully charged.

  • Page 27 UTILISATION DE L’OUTIL SYSTÈME INTELED L’anneau lumineux inteled vous indique l’état du sertissage en temps réel. Blanc - L’outil est en sertissage. Inteled restera allumé pendant 30 secondes après que le sertissage soit fini. Vert - L’outil a atteint la bonne pression hydraulique pendant le sertissage. Le sertissage est bon. Rouge - L’outil n’a pas atteint la bonne pression hydraulique pendant le sertissage.

    Le logiciel de sertissage DUBUIS fournit des données précieuses sur chaque sertissage. Il est également recommandé de mettre à jour le firmware de l’outil. INSTALLATION 1.     DÉPANNAGE Problème Solution L’outil ne démarre pas quand j’appuie sur la gâchette. S’assurer que la batterie est chargée. Retirer le verrou de gâchette. InteLED clignotte jaune quand je mets en marche l’outil. La maintenance de l’outil est bientôt atteinte. Faire la maintenance de l’outil dès que possible.
