What is a Hotwire 8303/8304 IDSL Card?
A Hotwire
(IDSL) card is a circuit card assembly that contains 24 ports, an interface to the
Network Service Provider (NSP), and a processor.
When the 8303/8304 IDSL card is used in a Hotwire 8610/8810 Digital Subscriber
Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) or 8820 GranDSLAM chassis and connected to
a Hotwire 6301/6302 DSL Router, it provides high-speed Internet or intranet
access over traditional twisted-pair telephone wiring.
