Note on the ADAPTOR jacks (TA-
F606ES only) @
Before connecting the unit, remove the
shorting plugs.
When not using the ADAPTOR jacks, be
sure to install the shorting plugs.
Otherwise, no sound can be heard from
the speakers.
To enjoy more pure sound
Connect a CD player or a tuner to the
DIRECT IN jacks. DIRECT IN circuitry
bypasses the INPUT SELECTOR and REC
OUT SELECTOR so the signal is sent
directly to the amplifier. Note that the
program source input through DIRECT IN
jacks cannot be processed through an
adaptor nor be output through REC OUT
jacks.

TA-F707ES only) B)
You can connect active speakers which
have power amplifier or a stereo power
amplifier.
Set the SPEAKERS selector to B/PRE OUT
on the front panel of TA-F808ES/TA-
F707ES.

To control the tuner connected to the
amplifier with the supplied remote
commander, connect to the CONTROL S
IN jack of Sony tuner with the CONTROL S
cord (not supplied). When the amplifier is
not turned on, the connected tuner cannot
be controlled.
Using the AC Outlet
These are used to supply power to other
equipments whose total power
consumption is less than the wattage
indicated on the AC outlets.
SWITCHED: These outlets are controlled
with the POWER switch.
UNSWITCHED: The outlet is not controlled
with the POWER switch. It continually
supplies power to any equipment
connected.
Caution
Do not connect electrical home appliances
such as an electric iron, fan, or other high
wattage equipment to these AC outlets.

Avant de raccorder l'appareil, enlever les
fiches de mise en circuit.
Si les prises ADAPTOR ne sont pas
utilisées, veiller 4 remettre ces fiches en
place, sinon aucun son ne sortira des
enceintes avant.
Pour obtenir un son plus
authentique
Raccorder un lecteur CD ou un tuner sur
les prises DIRECT IN. Le circuit DIRECT IN
ne passe pas par fe sélecteur INPUT
SELECTOR et le sélecteur REC OUT
SELECTOR. Le signal est transmis
directement a l''amplificateur. Noter que la
source de programme entrant par les
prises DIRECT IN ne peut pas étre traitée
par un processeur ni sortie par les prises
REC OUT.

Pour piloter le tuner raccordé a
vamplificateur avec la télécommande
fournie, relier cette prise a la prise
CONTROL S IN d'un tuner Sony a l'aide
d'un cordon CONTROL S (non fourni).
Quand l'amplificateur n'est pas sous
tension, le tuner ne peut pas étre contrdélé.
Prise de courant secteur
(AC OUTLET)
Utiliser ces prises secteur pour alimenter
d'autres appareils audio dont la
consommation électrique totale ne
dépasse pas le nombre de watts indiqué
sur ces prises secteur.
SWITCHED: Ces prises sont commandées
par le commutateur POWER.
UNSWITCHED: La prise n'est pas
commutateur POWER.

Attention
Ne pas brancher a ces prises d'appareil
ménager électrique, tel qu'un fer a
repasser, un ventilateur ou tout autre
appareil a forte tension.
