Changing the battery
If after a routine operation check, the lamp does not remain lit for the 3 hour period,
a new battery pack may be required. Change the battery pack as follows:
1.
Isolate from the mains supply.
2.
Remove the diffuser and release the main LED plate assembly.
3.
Unplug the battery pack in line connector.
4.
Loosen the battery locating nuts and remove the old battery pack.
5.
Write the current date on the new battery pack.
6.
Fit the new battery pack and secure in position.
7.
Reconnect the battery pack in-line connector.
8.
Refit the LED plate assembly. Tighten the screws and refit the diffuser.
9.
Restore mains power and allow to charge for 24 hours.
10. Perform the full operation check and update the test record.
Note: To help promote good battery performance, it is recommended that the battery is
cycled periodically from completely discharged back to fully charged.
Changing a fuse
Two fuses are fitted to this product and are located on the mains connection
terminal block and can be changed as follows:
1.
Isolate from the mains supply.
2.
Remove the diffuser and release the main LED plate assembly.
3.
Pull the fuse holder out of the terminal block
4.
Press the fuse out of the holder and replace with an identical fuse (240V F3A).
5.
Insert the fuse holder back into the terminal block.
6.
Refit the LED plate assembly. Tighten the screws and refit the diffuser.
7.
Restore the mains power and check the operation.
