Transcast Homepage Menu Bar Options
Click on the following Menu Bar options for quick access to Transcast services
Transcast Goes to the Transcast homepage/interactive menu.
Mail Goes to the Transcast Email menu.
Shop Shows where to do your shopping for a variety of
products and services:
Autos, Books, Clothing, Food, Health & Beauty,
Music, Sports, Toys, Travel, Video and other
shopping-related offerings.
News Shows the latest headlines on various subjects:
National, World, Business, Stock market, Sports,
Health, Entertainment, News stories, articles, etc.
Sports Displays sports information:
Sports News, Sporting Goods, Activities, and other
sports-related options.
Transcast Quick Reference Guide
How Do I ?
Get Help When Using Transcast
Press the "Help" hot key on the keyboard,
or click on "help" on the menu. Help pro-
vides how-to-do-it answers to frequently
asked questions regarding how to use
Transcast menu options.
Switch Between TV and Transcast
Press the hot key labeled "TV/Web"
(switches viewing between Transcast serv-
ice and currently tuned TV channel.
Turn TV Channel On and Off (PIP)
With Transcast image on the TV screen,
press "PIP" on the keyboard to also show
currently tuned channel, press again to
remove channel PIP screen.
Search the Web
Click on the word "Search" (right side of
the Transcast menu). Click on the text rec-
tangle, press Select. Type the search
term(s) in the box provided, click "Go" and
Transcast will take you to the world-wide
web.
Stop the Current Page from Downloading
Press "Stop" on the keyboard.
Go to or Return to Transcast Homepage
A homepage is the first screen or menu

What's New Shows online sales opportunities in various

shown for an Internet site. Click on the
"Transcast" logo or press "Home Page" on
the keyboard to go directly to the
Transcast Home page.
Read or Send Email
Press the button labeled "Email", choose
new or existing account, then follow the
instructions for logging into your Email
account. Once that's been done, click
"Send Mail" or "Read Mail".
Go Back to Previous Page (If available)
Click "Previous" on the menu or press
"Back" on the keyboard.
Go Forward to the Next Page
(If available) Click "Next" on the menu or
press "Forward" on the keyboard.
Go to a Favorite Site
Press "Go To Site" or "Go To List" on the
keyboard.
Go to the List of Favorite Web Pages
Press "Go To List" on the keyboard.
Show the Menu Bar
Press "Menu" on the keyboard.
Displays money resources information:
Business, Stocks, Banking, and other
money-related options.
Shows life resources information:
Entertainment, Family, Health, Home & Garden,
Horoscopes, and other life-related options.
Shows TV listings in your area.
categories.
Goes to your favorites web sites. Provides a place
to keep your favorite web sites.
Disable Call Waiting
See the Transcast Setup menu for instruc-
tions.
Go to the Search Page
Click the word "Search" on the menu, or
press "Search" on the keyboard.
Go to the Setup Page
Click the word "Setup" on the menu, or
press "Setup" on the keyboard.
Go to the Help Page
Click the word "Help" on the menu, or
press "Help" on the keyboard.
Close the Connection to Transcast
Press "Phone Hang Up". Press "TV/Web" on
the keyboard, to see selected TV channel.
Go to a Web Address
Press "Search" to go to the search page
and type in either a subject you want to
find or the Web page address. See next
page for more information.
Restrict Transcast Usage
Remove batteries from the keyboard or put
keyboard in a secure location.
