Software Installation Guide for Project TP
1. Bootloader Loading
a. Bootloader loading from USB
If there is software already on the TV, version of this software must be at least
V01.008.00 to use this feature!
Initial Conditions: TV will be open.
Step 1:
The software package supplied in the bootloader binary folder's (eg.
Mboot_TF_V=(_SAMSUNG_DDR.bin) name must be changed as "mboot.bin".
Step 2:
After changing the name of software, the "mboot.bin" software folder should be
copied into the USB memory. (If more than one partition in memory, you should
copy into first partition)
Step 3:
Insert the USB memory, USB port side of the TV.
Step 4:
Wait USB memory 10 second to mount itself.
Step 5:
Open the Service Menu.
Step 6:
On the Service Menu access the Boot Code Configuration choice and press the OK
button.
Step 7:
In case of absence of any problem, TV shuts down by itself and will open with a new
bootloader. If a problem has occurred TV is not shut down automatically. If the debug
output is readable (eg. MSTV_Tool.exe) "mboot update has failed!" message
appears.
