REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE (continued)
PROCEDURE
1. Remove input power to the machine.
2. Perform the Case Cover Removal Procedure.
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.
• Have an electrician install and
service this equipment. Turn the
input power OFF at the fuse box
before working on equipment. Do
not touch electrically hot parts.

3. Remove the gun and cable assembly from the
machine.
4. Disconnect the power lead from the wire drive
mount.

5. Label and disconnect the wire feed motors
armature leads. Remove gas hose.
6. Remove the four phillips screws that are locat-
ed inside of the machine. See Figure F.10.
7. Locate and remove the two 7/16" bolts that
secure the wire drive gear box to the wire drive
mount, note washer placement. See Figure
F.11.
8. Remove the Wire Drive Motor and replace. See
Figure F.12.
