Cinema re-equalizer indicator
Enjoying sound in a variety of
reproduction modes
5 Start playing the sound source.
The AC-3 indicator lights if the source being played has been
recorded in the Dolby Digital (AC-3) format.
Only the Dolby Digital (AC-3) signal and the linear PCM signal (see
page 17) can be reproduced.
The digital input signal of sampling frequencies 96 kHz and other
signal formats such as MPEG cannot be reproduced on this unit.
Adjusting the volume level
B When this unit is connected to a receiver or amplifier having
6-channel discrete input terminals:
Adjust the volume level using the volume con-
trol on the component (receiver or amplifier).
E When this unit is connected to three standard stereo amplifi-
ers or three integrated amplifiers:
[6] Adjust the volume
level using this unit's
VOLUME control.
To adjust the volume level of the components connected to
the stereo control amplifier, use the volume control on the
stereo control amplifier.
After use
Depending on the main control used for adjusting the volume level,
turn the volume setting of the component or this unit down all the
way, and turn off the power of the unit and components.
When starting the playback, the sound may be cut or interrupted
before the input source confirmed as a Dolby Digital (AC-3) program
format (The AC-3 indicator lights).
Enjoying sound with CINEMA Re-EQ
CINEMA Re-EQ makes it possible to enjoy movie software in your
home just as you would at the movie theater, with reproducing the
original movie sound created to be most suitable when played at the
movie theater by equalizing it to reduce the high frequency range of
front speakers.
Ry] Press CINEMA Re-EQ.
The Re-EQ indicator lights.
When the button is pressed again, the function is released, and
the indicator goes off.
