Maintenance

Maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by qualified persons.
Decalcification:
The built-in limescale protection system prevents limescale deposits in the steam
generator and in the steam pipes. If the cartridge of the limescale protection filter
system is not changed in time, limescale deposits will then occur in the steam system
if soft or softened water is not used, making descaling necessary.
Decalcification may only be carried out by a qualified person.
Only a descaling agent approved by the manufacturer may be used.

must be worn. Skin wettings must be rinsed off immediately with water.
After completion of the decalcifying solution must be disposed of in
accordance with the regulations.
Pour the descaling agent into a 20 litre container according to the instructions for use
and dilute with hot water. Disconnect the suction connection on the water pump.
Connect a descaling hose to the inlet of the water pump and insert it into the tank.
Connect the hose from the pump directly to the heater. Place the steam lance with gun
and connected steam hose in the tank so that the descaling solution can flow into the
tank.
Switch on the machine ready for operation as follows:
➢ Set steam regulator to "WET".
➢ ON / OFF - Set hazard switch to 1-ON.
➢ Switch off the heating in the display.
➢ Set gun selector switch to "Steam without additive dosing".
➢ Actuate gun switch lever and - for descaling procedure only - fix in ON position.
The water pump circulates the descaling agent. Descaling is complete when the liquid
stops foaming.
➢ ON / OFF - Set hazard switch to 0-OFF, water pump is switched off.
Empty the container and dispose of the descaling agent in accordance with the
regulations. Fill with approx. 16 litres of clear, cold water and add 0.5 litres of alkaline
detergent. Insert the descaling hose back into the container and place the steam lance
back into the container.
