Verify Unbalanced
Output Voltage
Start unit and run at
1800 rpm
Verify voltage is unba anced by measur ng the vo tage
l
with a multimeter. Phase to phase and phase to neutral.
Test voltage at load lugs with circuit breaker closed and
no load connected to the unit. Measure voltage with
set up n 240V 3-phase and 480V 3-phase. Verify wh ch
i
phase is low.

Perform the same test at he top of the circuit
breaker. Same phase nd cating a low voltage?
Check for loose, broken or damaged connections
between top of circuit breaker and voltage selector
switch. Reference voltage selector switch and generator
wiring diagrams.
