For half loads use half quantity.
For information regarding the degrees of
hardness of water in your area, ask the
local Water Authority.
Using fabric conditioners
When you want to use a conditioner,
take the lid off and put the measured
amount (follow manufacturer's
instructions) into compartment «c» in the
dispenser at the same time as you put in
the washing powder. Be careful not to
fill the compartment above the level
marked «MAX».
The conditioner will be automatically
used by the machine at the appropriate
time.
Select the programme required by
pushing in and turning the programme
selector dial clockwise to the required
letter. Pull out the dial. The pilot light
will then come on and the machine will
start. The machine will automatically
carry out all the operations up to the end
of the chosen programme. Then it will
stop.
The pilot light goes out.
If, after the start of a programme, you
find you have selected the wrong one,
push the selector dial in to stop the
machine. Then turn the dial clockwise to
the correct position and pull the dial out
to restart the washing cycle.
At the end of the programme push the
dial in to switch the machine off.
Unloading the clothes
The lid remains automatically locked for
1-2 minutes after the machine has been
switched off. You can then open the lid
and unload the machine. If you have
been using a gentle wash cycle do not
forget to set the machine to drain the
water (programme V or Z) before
opening the lid.
To start the machine
Check that:
the main switch is on;
the lid is properly closed;
the water is turned on.
