REMOVE THE WHEELS
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply
the parking brake.
2. Elevate:
• Wheels
TIP
Place the vehicle on a suitable stand so that the
wheels are elevated.
CHECKING THE WHEELS
The following procedure applies to all of the
wheels.
1. Check:
• Tire
• Wheel
Refer to "CHECKING THE TIRES" on page
3-6 and "CHECKING THE WHEELS" on
page 3-6.
WARNING
After replacing the tire, ride conservatively to
allow the tire to be properly seated in the rim.
Failure to do so may cause an accident re-
sulting in vehicle damage and possible inju-
ry.
2. Check:
• Wheel bearings
Wheel turns roughly or is loose → Replace.
CHECKING THE WHEEL HUBS
The following procedure applies to all of the
wheel hubs.
1. Check:
• Front wheel hub "1"
• Rear wheel hub "2"
Cracks/damage → Replace.
• Splines (rear wheel hub) "a"
Wear/damage → Replace.
