4. On/O

The battery door is also the on/o switch. For tamper-
proof battery doors refer to chapter 5.2.

When you switch on the hearing aid you may hear a
start-up melody.

5. Batteries

5.1 Insert battery with a standard battery door

Remove the Open the
sticker from battery door.

If it is di cult to close the battery door: check that the
battery is inserted correctly and that the at side is
facing upwards. If the battery is not inserted correctly,
the hearing aid will not work and the battery door can
be damaged. The at side is marked with a "+" symbol
either on the sticker or on the battery.
If the tamper-proof door is mounted continue to read
the important information below and refer to speci c
instructions in chapter 5.2 for inserting the battery.
