Guarantee
The equipment suppl ied by Farnel l Instrumen ts Ltd. is guaran teed aga inst defective
aterial and faul ty manufacture for a period of twel ve mon ths from the date of
despatch.
In the case of material or components employed in the equi pment but not
manufactured by us, we allow the customer the period of any guarantee extended to
US.
The equi pment has been carefully inspected and submit ted to comp rehens i ve tests at
the factory prior to despatch.
If, within the guarantee period, any defect is
discovered in the equi pment in respect of
material or workmanship and reasonab ly
wi thin our control, we undertake to make good the defect at our own expense s ubject
to our standard condi tions of sale.
In exceptional circums tances and at the
discretion of the Service Manager, a charge for labour and carri age cos ts incurred

The guarantee does not extend to thi rd part ies, nor does

In the event of difficul ty, or apparent malfunction, it is advisable to telephone
(or telex) the Service Department of your local Sales Engineer or Agent (if over
seas) for advi ce before at tempt i ng repairs.
